The Aldi project included the demolition and removal of 7,000m2 of the existing retail store.

Along with:

- Bulk excavation of 11,000m3 of unusable fill

-  Reinstatement of 22,000 tonnes of quarry sand, compacted under level one conditions

- Excavations of footings and construction of car park
